Indian para-archers won two more gold medals on Sunday to add to their tally after winning both the recurve open and compound open mixed team titles at the Para-archery Asia Cup in Thailand.

Harvinder Singh and Pooja won the gold medal in the recurve open mixed team category. Shyam Sunder Swami and Sarita clinched the gold medal in the compound open mixed team category.

In the recurve open, Harvinder and Pooja edged past (5-4) the Indonesian mixed team of Mahda Aulia and Kholidin in the final. The Indian pair clinched the title after a shoot-off, scoring 16 against Indonesia's 13.

This was the second gold medal for Harvinder, the Paralympic champion, after he won the gold medal in the men's recurve team open category.

Meanwhile, Shyam Sunder and Sarita clinched the gold medal in the compound mixed team open category with a comfortable 150-148 win against the Indonesian pair of Ken Swagumilang and Teodora Audi Ayudia Ferelly.

Shyam and Sarita maintained their lead in all four sets to confirm India's fourth gold medal. Indian archers now took their medal tally to six medals: 4 gold and 2 silver.

India has an opportunity to double its medal tally on the final day of the competition on Monday as six Indian archers will compete in individual finals: 3 gold medal matches and as many bronze medal matches.
