The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is set to host TURF 2024, on November 30, 2024, in New Delhi, showcasing thought leadership and innovation in Indian sports.
TURF 2024 will convene prominent voices from the global sports industry, including a special delegation from Australia’s sports sector, reinforcing FICCI’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and exchange.
Supported by GMR Sports, TURF 2024 will bring together sports leaders, athletes, policymakers, and corporate stakeholders, providing a dynamic platform for dialogue on critical topics like sports infrastructure, grassroots development, and corporate social responsibility in sports.
In addition to this, the event encourages collaboration through various sessions, exhibitions, and both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings.
This year’s theme, "Vision 2036: Making India a Sporting Powerhouse," aligns with India’s aspirations to build a vibrant and competitive sports culture.
It also hosts the highly regarded India Sports Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements and contributions to the development of sports in India.
For this year's event, the summit will focus on key themes such as Public-Private Partnerships in sports, infrastructure development in sports, and improving sports manufacturing in India, among other things.
It will also hold discussions on the National Sports Policy 2024, Women in Sports as well, wherein several stakeholders from the country will put forth their viewpoints and share best practices.
Harvinder Singh, who won India's first-ever Para-Archery gold medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, is slated to be part of the event.
