Shooting: Vijayveer and Anish Fail to Make the Cut!
Indian shooters Vijayveer Sidhu and Anish Bhanwalla failed to qualify for the final of the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. Despite being in the top 6, which is requirement to qualify in stage 1 and early set of stage 2, the Indian shooters faltered in the final set of Stage 2.

Lakshya Sen loses to Viktor Axelsen in straight sets- 22-20,21-14
Viktor Axelsen moves to its second consecutive Olympic Finals.
Lakshya had the chance in both the games but the player won the match.
In 1st Game, Lakshya was leading 20-17, where he lost 20-22.
2nd Game, Lakshya started with a 7-0 lead, which Viktor took from him and won the game and the match by 21-14
