Odisha to host Hockey Men's World Cup 2023

Having successfully hosted the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup in 2018, Odisha has now got another opportunity to host the flagship mega event in 2023. On Wednesday, Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, announced that the matches will be held in two cities this time — Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.

Previously, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) had announced that the 2023 event will be held in India as they won the hosting rights edging out Belgium and Malaysia.

The tournament is scheduled to be held from January 13th to January 29th, 2023.
