With matches announced in the coming weeks, WWE fans can look forward to witnessing appearances by 10 Indian WWE talent including:

Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal is a Canadian-Indian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE performing on the Raw brand. Mahal received a push following WrestleMania 33, culminating in a win over Randy Orton at Backlash in May 2017 for the WWE Championship. Mahal thus became the 50th WWE Champion and the first wrestler of Indian descent to win the WWE Championship. After losing the title in November 2017, he later won the WWE United States Championship at the 34th edition of WWE's flagship pay-per-view event WrestleMania in April 2018. The following year, he captured the WWE 24/7 Championship twice in June 2019.

The Bollywood Boyz

The Bollywood Boyz are a Canadian-Indian professional wrestling tag team composed of brothers Gurvinder Sihra and Harvinder Sihra. They are currently signed to WWE, performing on the 205 Live brand. Gurvinder works under the ring name Sunil Singh and Harvinder works under the ring name Samir Singh. Both are former WWE 24/7 Champions, with Samir having five reigns and Sunil having four. The team debuted on SmackDown in April 2017, repackaged as The Singh Brothers and the managers of Jinder Mahal. They managed Mahal to his reign as WWE Champion and continued to accompany him until 2019, when the duo began wrestling on 205 Live.

Indus Sher

Rinku Singh and Saurav Gurjar made their official TV debut by taking on NXT Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle in March 2020. The road has been a long and challenging one for the duo ever since they intersected paths at the WWE Dubai Tryouts in 2017. Gurjar was a former national champion in kickboxing and has played a variety of sports like wrestling, basketball and boxing during his college days. Rinku, on the other hand, is a success story in a sport that has almost no recognition in India – Baseball. The first-ever Indian to play professional baseball after he won the ‘The Million Dollar Arm’ competition in 2008.

Jeet Rama

Satender Dagar is currently signed to WWE, where he competes in their developmental territory NXT under the ring name Jeet Rama. Satender was a ten-time kushti heavyweight amateur wrestling champion and three-time winner of the Hind Kesari award in India.

Kavita Devi

Kavita Dalal, also known as Kavita Devi is an Indian wrestler who is currently making it big in WWE NXT for almost three years now. After being mentored by The Great Khali for more than a year in Haryana, Kavita Devi was signed by WWE in 2017. Since then, Kavita Devi has managed to become one of the most prominent faces on the WWE NXT roster. The first Indian woman to step inside the WWE ring, she has already fought a lot of big names in WWE NXT, including the likes of Dakota Kai, and wrestling fans expect her to enter the main roster of WWE within two more years, to add to the list of Indians in WWE.

Giant Zanjeer and Dilsher Shanky

Standing at a staggering 7-foot-2 and tipping the scales at 340 pounds, Giant Zanjeer is a titanic trainee of The Great Khali who is here to make his presence known. A native of Jagraon, Punjab, Zanjeer is a former basketball player who set his sights on the squared circle and is ready to grab this once in a lifetime opportunity to rise the ranks of WWE. At 7 feet tall and weighting 310 pounds, Dilsher Shanky of Jagadhri, India, is a goliath. An experienced cricketer and actor, Shanky left a job working as an accountant to turn his attention to the squared circle under the supervision of another giant of the ring, The Great Khali.

Joining a stacked roster of monsters including Giant Zanjeer and Omos, and following in the footsteps of colossal figures like Braun Strowman who rose through the ranks of NXT, Dilsher Shanky the goliath is here to prove himself. No questions asked.

Guru Raaj

Guru Raaj arrived in Orlando from Banda, India, after successfully being selected at the record-setting WWE India Tryout in 2019. A former farmer turned sports-entertainer, Raaj was trained by The Great Khali and uses his athletic experience in javelin throwing and taekwondo to run circles around his opponents. Demonstrating strength, speed and craft… one thing is for certain: Guru Raaj is the first Indian-born high-flyer in WWE, and he is here to put the rest of the roster on notice.

The arrival of WWE Superstar Spectacle comes at a time when WWE’s popularity in India continues to increase. WWE is one of the most-watched sports properties in India, and India ranks #1 for WWE YouTube consumption and #1 in WWE Facebook followers. In addition, WWE has been actively recruiting elite athletes and performers from the country. In 2019, WWE hosted its largest tryout in history, where more than 70 top athletes from India showcased their abilities in Mumbai and four Indian recruits were selected to train at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, U.S.
