WFI announces schedule for National Senior Wrestling Championship

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) announced the schedule for the National Senior Wrestling Championship on Monday. All the three categories – Greco Roman, Women’s and Freestyle will be conducted in three different cities in order to combat the prevailing circumstances.

While, the Freestyle wrestling will be conducted in Noida on January 23^rdand 24^th, the Women’s wrestling will be conducted at Agra on January 30^th and 31^st.

Though, there has been no official confirmation for the venue and date for the Greco-Roman category, it is expected to be held in Punjab during the month of February.

Freestyle

Venue: Chandra Mauli Pandey Kushti Academy, Gate No. 4, Noida Stadium, Sector 21A, Noida

Date: January 23^rd and24^th, 2021

Women’s

Venue: Holy Light Senior Secondary School, Fatehpur Sikri Road, Laramda, Bichpuri, Agra

Date: January 30^thand 31^st, 2021
