Volleyball Federation to conduct second edition of Volleyball League from Feb 2020
The Volleyball Federation of India in their Annual General Meeting decided to hold the second edition of the Volleyball league in the from 25th February 2020.
The VFI will decide upon the name which can be either Indian Volley League or National Volleyball League. The VFI also unanimously decided that league will lose its name as the Pro Volleyball League since they decided to issue termination notice to Baseline Ventures, who were hosting the Pro Volleyball League. The notice came as the private body had breached their aggrement with VFI regarding hosting the tournament.
The exact venue, broadcasters and the names of the six to eight participating franchises will be announced in due course by the VFI.
S. Vasudevan, president of VFI, said, "We are working unitedly as a family for the development and betterment of volleyball and players in the country."
“The house”, the statement emphasised, “has unanimously authorised the Governing Council to take all major decisions for the conduct of the League.

Raj Kumar, the executive vice president of the body, emaphasised on building of a strong Indian team with the help of the state units of volleyball.
