Indian shooter, 17-year-old, Divyansh Singh Panwar wins gold in 10m Air Rifle Men's at the ongoing at the ongoing season-ending ISSF World Cup Final in Putian, China. The Indian shot 250.1 coming ahead of Hungary's Istvan Peni by 0.1 points.

In the qualifications, he finished 3rd with a score of 627.1 which ensured his entry into finals. He earned a quota at Tokyo 2020 at the ISSF World Cup in Beijing where he won a silver. In Beijing and in Munich he won gold at the mixed team events with Anjum Moudgil.

Earlier today, Elavenil Valarivan and Manu Bhaker won two individual gold medals at 10m Air Rifle and 10m Air Pistol women's events, respectively. Elavenil shot a score of 250.8 in the final of Women’s Air Rifle to top the podium in a tough pool. With the result, Elavenil is all set to end the year on a high as she will become the new World No. 1. After missing out on a place in the 25m pistol final on a tiebreaker on Wednesday, Manu bounced back with gold today with a total score of 244.7.
