The WTA Challengers event is Ankita Raina’s second competitive tournament since she last turned out for the Indian team at the Fed Cup in March. Her return to tennis last week ended with a 2-6, 6(8)-7(10) loss to Russia’s Marina Melnikova in the round of 128 of the Prague Challengers on Monday.
Ankita Raina is the second seed in both singles and doubles at an ITF25K$ event in the Czech Republic this week. Ankita is the only women's player from India to be playing the qualifiers at the French Open.
