On the ninth day of the 38th National Games Games, Indian athletes compete for honors in various sports.
While there were several medal rounds in taekwondo on Thursday, the beach volleyball final - men's and women's - awaited engaging contests, as the Tamil Nadu men's and women's teams faced Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry in the respective finals.
Besides these two sports, there were plenty of actions to follow in sports such as boxing, archery, lawn bowls, rowing, hockey, and tennis.

Women's football: Bronze medal playoff
West Bengal and Delhi fight for the bronze medal in women's football.
On Wednesday, West Bengal lost to Haryana in the semifinal, while Delhi went down to Odisha in the other semifinal.
In the final, Haryana and Odisha will battle it out for the gold medal this evening.

Tennis: Men's team semifinal
Niki Poonacha of Karnataka and Rishab Agarwal of Services fought in the first match of the tie
1st set: Rishab wins the first set 6-4
2nd set: Poonacha wins the second set 6-1
3rd Set: Rishab wins the final set 6-1
With this, Services takes the early lead in the tie, winning the first men's singles of the tie.

Niraj Kumar wins the gold medal, while Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Olympic bronze medallist Swapnil Kusale bag the silver and the bronze medals.

Men's cycling omnium scratch event result:
Dinesh Singh wins the Ominum scratch event with 40 points as Biswajit Singh finishes second with 38 points.
The finalists will be determined by their total points accumulation after the completion of four segments today.

Cycling men's omnium event starts
The men's cycling omnium event starts at the Rudrapur Velodrome. The cyclists have to cover a 10km distance in the Omnium 1. There will be four events in the Omnium today.
