Exciting action in sports like shooting, swimming, and kabaddi was in action on the second day of the National Games 2025 in Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Thursday.
Rudrankksh Patil progressed to the final of the men's 10m air rifle event whereas Narmada Raju won the gold medal in the women's 10m air rifle event.
Meanwhile, the medal events continued in sports like Swimming, and Wushu.
After Day 2, Karnataka is leading the medal tally closely followed by Manipur in second.

Beach Handball: Uttarakhand and Services men's team into the final
In the men's beach handball competition, Uttarakhand and Services progressed into the final whereas Kerala and Haryana will face each other in the final of the women's competition.

Swimming: Kushagra Rawat betters his own meet record to win the 1500m gold medal
Kushagra Rawat of Delhi clocked the timing of 15:37.79 to win the men's 1500m freestyle gold medal with a new meet record. National record holder Aryan Nehra settled for the bronze medal.

Oinam Malemnganbi Devi wins the gold medal in women's Taijiquan (Taolu) to further increase the medal tally of Manipur in Wushu. Meanwhile, Hanjabam Karanajit Sharma added a second gold for services.

Weightlifting: Vijay Kumar of Chattisgarh wins the men's 55 Kg gold medal
This was Chattisgarh's first medal in the competition. Vijay lifted a total of 248 Kg (105+143) in the final of men's 55 Kg to finish ahead of the national record holder Mukund Aher of Maharashtra.
