National Games 2025 Day 11- Sanjivani, Sawan, and Animesh win gold - Highlights

On Day 11 of the 38th National Games in Dehradun, lawn bowls and taekwondo concluded their final day of action.
Tennis, handball, and netball competitions continued, while athletics, gymnastics, and modern pentathlon got underway.
As with any multi-sport event, athletics was the day's biggest attraction, featuring several of India's top track and field stars.
Among them, sprinter Animesh Kujur and quarter-miler Vithya Ramraj kicked off their campaigns.

Athletics: Animesh and Amlan into final of 100m, Gurindervir Singh misses out
After an exciting preliminary round of 100m, eight athletes have booked their place in the final which included top Indian sprinters like Animesh Kujur, Amlan Borgohain, and Manikanta Hoblidar.
But, the surprising result came in heat-2 as last year's India no.2 on the top list, Gurindervir Singh, missed out on the final. He finished third in heat 2 with a timing of 10.96s.

A robot, Mauli is becoming the attraction as it serves the medals at the podium
Mauli the Mascot is an epic dedicated to Monal, the state bird of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, which has been accepted as the mascot for the 38th National Games.

Sanjivani Jadhav of Maharashtra clinches the gold medal, while Ankita and Soniya of Uttarakhand win the silver and bronze medals.
