The 38th edition of the National Games entered the third day of competition on Friday. There were medals on offer in events ranging from shooting to rugby today in the state of Uttarakhand.
Former world champion Rudrankksh Patil and Paris Olympics fourth-place finisher Arjun Babuta were left behind by 17-year-old Parth Mane in the men's 10m air rifle final whereas Bindyrani bettered Mirabai Chanu's Snatch NR in 55 Kg.

Badminton: Uttarakhand and Karnataka men's teams reach the final
Uttarakhand men's team got better (3-1) than Rajasthan to book its spot in the final whereas Karnataka men's team edged past (3-2) Chhattisgarh in a close semi-final.

Wushu: Madhya Pradesh added two more gold medals to their tally
Vanshika Namdeo and Pragya Yadav won the gold medals in Gunshu (Taolu) and Taijijian (Taolu) respectively to take Madhya Pradesh's gold medal tally to three in the sports of Wushu.

Weightlifting: Nirupama Devi wins the gold medal in women's 64 kg
Nirupama Devi of Manipur clinched the gold medal in the women's 64 Kg weight class with a total of 209 Kg.

Swimming: Dhinidhi Desinghu wins her fourth gold medal from the Games
Dhinidhi Desinghu clinched the women's 50m freestyle gold medal with a time of 26.96 whereas Mihir Ambre of Maharashtra edged past Srihari Natraj to clinch the men's 50m freestyle gold medal.

Rugby Sevens: Odisha women's team wins the gold medal with a solid win over Bihar
Odisha women's rugby team clinched the title with a 29-5 win against Bihar in the final. Meanwhile, Maharashtra clinched the bronze medal with a close (17-10) win in the bronze medal playoff against Delhi.

Rugby Sevens: Haryana men's team wins the gold medal with a solid win over Maharashtra
Haryana's men's rugby team clinched the title with a 22-7 win against Maharashtra in the final. Meanwhile, Odisha came from behind to win (26-10) the bronze medal playoff against West Bengal.
