MEDAL UPDATE: Maharashtra beats Odisha in the final of Women's Kho Kho to take home the gold.
Maharashtra women clinched gold medal in the Women's Kho Kho after defeating Odisha in the finals with a score line of 18-16.

Day 5 starts with a national record breaking performance by Ram Baboo of Uttar Pradesh in the 35km Race Walk.
Ram Baboo created history in the 35km race walk after he broke the 11-year-old record of Juned Khan. Ram Baboo clinched gold in the event with a timing of 2:36:34. Ram shelved close to four minutes from the previous national record created by Juned Khan in Ranchi.
Juned clinched silver with a timing of 2:40:51 and Chandan Singh won the bronze with a timing of 2:44:02.
