11-year-old Rivaan Dev retains National Karting Championship title
Ruhaan Alva becomes national champion in senior max category, Arafath Sheik crowned winner in junior max category.

Eleven-year-old Rivaan Dev Preetham from Chennai retained his national champion title in the micro max category of the MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship Rotax Max Classes 2024, at the Madras International Karting Arena, in Chennai on Sunday.
In the fifth and final round, Rivaan Dev (MSPORT), along with Ruhaan Alva (MSPORT), and 12-year-old Arafath Sheik (Crest Motorsport) emerged as national champions, with the latter two winning the senior max and junior max categories respectively.
Title retained
Rivaan Dev delivered a remarkable display, overcoming fierce competition to retain his title.
Not to be outdone, 12-year-old Arafath Sheik from Pune too showcased his skill by winning his category in some style.
The three have now qualified to represent India in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Sarno, Italy, scheduled for October 19 and 26.
