The Telugu Titans, led by Pawan Sehrawat, delivered a stunning comeback to defeat the Gujarat Giants 36-32 in a PKL Season 11 match at the Badminton Hall in Pune’s Balewadi Sports Complex.

The win takes the Titans closer to securing a spot in the playoffs. Pawan Sehrawat led the charge with 12 points, supported by Vijay Malik’s 8 points and Ashish Narwal’s 6. For the Giants, Rakesh and Guman Singh contributed 10 and 9 points respectively.

The match began with the Giants taking an early lead, neutralizing both Sehrawat and Malik in the opening moments.

However, the Titans quickly regained their footing, with Ashish Narwal leading the fightback. Gujarat Giants’ defence initially kept Sehrawat in check, while Guman Singh and Rakesh ensured the Giants maintained their edge. Just before halftime, Gujarat inflicted an All-Out on the Titans, extending their lead to 18-11.

The second half saw the Giants continue to dominate, building on their lead while their defence, led by Neeraj Kumar and Manuj, held strong.

However, Pawan Sehrawat came alive around the 30-minute mark, scoring crucial raids that turned the game. The Titans’ intensity rose sharply as they inflicted an All-Out on the Giants, overturning the deficit.

With five minutes remaining, Sehrawat completed his Super 10, guiding the Titans to a five-point lead. A second All-Out sealed the game as the Titans secured a morale-boosting victory.
