Pro Kabaddi League: Jaipur and U Mumba play out an entertaining draw

Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba played out an entertaining draw, as did Dabang Delhi and UP Yoddhas earlier in the day, in the 11th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), in Pune on Thursday.
Both matches showcased high-intensity performances, with raiders and defenders making crucial contributions.
U Mumba go to second place with 52 points from 16 games, while Jaipur are in sixth with 49 points.
Similarly, Delhi are in fifth place with 51 points, one point off second placed Mumba, and UP are in fourth place with 51 points, at the end of 16 matches.
Dabang Delhi vs UP Yoddhas (32-32 draw)
Dabang Delhi and UP Yoddhas finished in a 32-32 draw. UP Yoddhas' Gagan Gowda led the scoring with 13 points, while Bhavani Rajput adding a further 10 to the UP scoreline.
For Delhi, Ashu Malik registered another Super 10, ending with 13 points for his side.
Both teams exchanged early blows, staying level at 10-10 before UP Yoddhas edged ahead.
A Super Tackle by Delhi’s Rahul and a two-point raid by Himanshu helped Delhi take a 13-12 lead at halftime. Naveen Kumar's all-out early in the second half gave Delhi the upper hand.
However, Gowda's impressive raid inflicted an all-out on Delhi, shifting momentum to the Yoddhas.
In the final moments, Malik’s two-point raid ensured a tie, keeping both teams unbeaten in the league.
Jaipur Pink Panthers vs U Mumba (22-22 draw)
Defenders took center stage in the second match as Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba played out an entertaining 22-22 draw.
U Mumba’s Sombir secured a High-5 with seven points, while Reza Mirbagheri led Jaipur’s defense by securing six points.
U Mumba started strong, taking an early lead with solid defensive work. Jaipur fought back, leveling the scores through Ronak Singh’s Super Tackle.
The game remained tight with both the teams focusing on keeping a tight defense and in the final moments, Mirbagheri’s Super Tackle on Ajit Chouhan brought Jaipur level.
Both sides failed to break the deadlock after that and the game ended in a draw.

Tamil Thalaivas take on Gujarat Giants tomorrow at 8:00 PM, followed by Haryana Steelers facing Patna Pirates at 9:00 PM, IST.
