All of Nitesh, Sumit and Ashu Singh stepped up for U.P Yoddha in the defence.
The lead defender of the day for U.P was Sumit with 4 tackle points.

P Yoddha inflicted an all-out in the 10^th minute of the first half.
P Yoddha led 16-11 in the first half and had a strong 5-point lead over Tamil Thalaivas at the half way mark.
Tamil Thalaivas raiders came good in the starting minutes of the second half and transferred the pressure right on U.P’s defence.
Tamil Thalaivas failed to inflict an all-out in the 2^nd half (2^nd min) and conceded 2 raid points to Amit when they were left with just 1 player on the mat.
They inflicted an all-out in the 13^th minute of the second half. It took nearly 10 minutes for Tamil Thalaivas to inflict an all-out since U.P had just one player on the mat.
In the last minute, when Rishank came to raid in D-o-D situation, Shabeer Bappu made an aggressive tackle ahead of the baulk line which caused a win for Tamil Thalaivas.
Though Tamil Thalaivas won the 2^nd half 17-12, the final score read 28-28 and the game ended in a tie.
