Welcome to The Bridge's LIVE blog from the Semifinals of Pro Kabaddi League 2021
We started the league with 12 teams more than two months ago and are now down to just 4 teams after a total of 134 matches so far. In the final four are PKL's most successful team Patna Pirates and former champions Bengaluru Bulls. Giving them company are two teams who are eyeing to clinch their first ever PKL title - Dabang Delhi and UP Yoddha.

UP Yoddha reduced to two men once again and their defence once again steps up with a Super Tackle. Srikanth Jadhav this time with a double thigh hold on the young Guman Singh.

Pardeep tackled!
Pardeep Narwal has been taken down yet again by the Pirates. A do-or-die raid for the Dubki King and a very advanced tackle from the Pirates defence.
Pardeep almost managed to escape and the Pirates coach is rather unhappy with these risky attempts from his wards.

Patna's half by a long way. A complete all-round show so far barring a couple of defensive lapses and the Yoddhas have their task cut now with Surender Gill not looking anywhere near his best.

Pardeep Narwal's first point of the Semifinal comes in the 18th minute of the match. An attempted advanced tackle from Sajin and Pardeep escapes easily.

The Patna Pirates continue to march on and the Yoddhas are crumbling like a pack of cards. Both Pardeep and Surender Gill have been kept quiet and the three-time champions are reaping the rewards.

Ashu to the rescue once again for the Yoddhas. Second super tackle for him and second on Sachin Tanwar as well as the Yoddhas avert the all-out for now.
UP has scored 6 points so far, 4 of them have come via super tackles.

This is going from bad to worse for the Yoddhas, as they are once again reduced to two men.

The joy is shortlived for the Yoddhas, as they get wiped out within 10 minutes. This is not looking good for the Yoddhas, but then again they made a comeback from a similar situation in the Eliminator.
