Hero Club Playoffs : ATK Mohun Bagan beats Hyderabad FC in penalties- Highlights

ATK Mohun Bagan are going to the AFC Cup preliminary round after beating the Nizams on penalties. Interestingly this is the second time ATK Mohun Bagan beating Hyderabad FC on penalties.

The match was an equal game with a little more attacking threat from Hyderabad FC. However it was Dimitri Petratos who opened the scoring and Joel Chianese equalizing minutes later. Both teams had their chances to stop the game going to extra time or penalties.

Manolo Marquez was sent off just after the regulation time but the Nizams played well in the extra time without their head coach on the sidelines. It was also the last game of Manolo in Hyderabad FC colors, not a memorable way to end an amazing journey.

Joao Victor scored the first penalty for Hyderabad FC but Sahil Tavora, Odei and Joel chianese missed their spot kicks. Anuj saved one shot, but Petratos, Liston and Kiyan converted their kicks to send ATK Mohun Bagan to the AFC Cup and Hyderbad FC, home.
