ISL 2022-23 : ATK Mohun Bagan beat Kerala Blasters FC 2 -1 - Highlights

It was a heated game at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata tonight between ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters. The hosts were on full attack mode from the first minute.

However it was Kerala Blasters who broke the deadlock. In the 16th minute Apostolos Giannou gave a defence splitting pass to Dimitrios Diamantakos. Dimitrios makes no mistake and slots it into the net. ATK Mohun Bagan answered as early as in the 23rd minute, courtesy to a header from Carl McHugh.

The game was equally intense from both the sides in the second half, however the game changed when Rahul KP picked up a second yellow. ATK Mohun Bagan scored their second in the 70th minute just 6 minutes after that red card. It was again Carl McHugh who finished the ball in to the net from Manvir Singh.

ATK Mohun Bagan secured their playoff spot with this win, while Kerala Blasters moved to the 5th place from 3. The playoff hopes of FC Goa are almost over.
