Kenkre FC defeated Sudeva Delhi FC in the I-League 2022-23.
Kenkre FC beat Sudeva Delhi FC 2-1 in the I-League 2022-23 season on Monday at the Chhatrasal Stadium. Ahmed Faiz Khan and Azfar Ashfaque Noorani scored for the visiting side, while Basit Ahmed Bhat scored the home side's only goal.
It was Kenkre who took an early lead at the 12th minute with Basit passing the ball in the net from close range from a corner ball. However, Sudeva balanced the scales right before the half time whistle with Basit rustling the net.
In the second half, Kenkre were the more eager side to take the lead back and they did so in the 61st minute with Azfar scoring a screamer with a first-time shot from the left flank. While Sudeva did try to get themselves back into the game after conceding, it was to no avail.
