I-League 2022-23: Mohammedan SC beat NEROCA FC 3-1- Updates, Scores, Results

Mohammedan SC beat Neroca FC at their home in a four goal thriller in the I-League 2022-23 on Wednesday. It was an end to end contest from minute one, but different approaches from both sides were apparent.

Mohammedan kept a huge percentage of possession meanwhile Neroca was trying to take advantage from quick counters. It was deadlocked till the 40th minute when Mohammedans scored the opening goal from a Kean Lewis cross. Neroca FC captain David Simbo tried to clear it but his header ended up in the net.

Neroca pushed to find the equalizer from the start of second half and Kasimov scored in the 58th minute. It looked like the game was ending 1-1 when in the 81st minute Marcus Joseph was taken down in the box and a penalty was awarded to the home team.

Marcus Joseph converted it with ease from the spot. Super-sub Faslu Rahman scored a beautiful goal to increase the lead for the home team in the 85th minute.
