Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2024: Updated points table
The Indian junior women’s hockey team made a strong start in the Women’s Asia Cup.
India played its first group game in the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2024 against Bangladesh and secured a victory. This win puts India in a strong position in Pool A, which also includes China, Malaysia, and Thailand.
The tournament, held in Muscat, Oman, from 7 to 15 December 2024, serves as a qualifier for the FIH Junior World Cup 2025 in Chile.
India, the defending champions, aims to retain their title under the leadership of coach Tushar Khandker, Captain Jyoti Singh, and Vice Captain Sakshi Rana.
