Match four of the inaugural edition of the Women's Hockey India League will feature Odisha Warriors taking on the JSW Soorma Hockey Club, in Ranchi on Wednesday.
Both teams come into this match with a win in their opening match, and they both will be keen on keeping the streak going when they take the field today.

That was a bad injection from Akshata Abaso Dhekale!

Akshata's injection went past the team and it created a big breakaway for the Odisha attack but Soorma fall back in numbers and defend it.
In replay, it looked like a complete lack of miscommunication between the attackers and the injector.

Three PCs from Soorma and all three were saved wonderfully by the Odisha keeper Jocelyn Bartram but the last block fell kindly to Salima Tete who had the entire goal to aim at but somehow puts it wide!
Soorma will hope they don't rue the chances they're missing right now.

Soorma will go into the break the happier of the two teams, although we could say Odisha have held their own and created quite a few chances both from open play and PCs.
Odisha need that little bit of quality in the final third, especially inside the circle, and they will hope to find it soon enough in the second half.
