The Indian women's hockey team pummeled Malaysia 5-0 in its second outing at the Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2023 on Saturday, courtesy a brace by Vandana Katariya and a goal each by Sangita Kumari, Lalremsiami and Jyoti.
In its opening match, India registered a comprehensive 7-1 win over Thailand on Friday.
India will face off against reigning Asian Games gold medallist China on Monday at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi.
