The Indian women's hockey team faced its toughest test in the tournament as they took on table-toppers China in Bihar on Saturday.
Olympic silver medalist China was the top-scoring and the only other unbeaten team in the tournament. It was interesting to see how the Indian team countered the Chinese threat.

India registered a solid victory against China to jump up to the top of the table in the league table with four wins on the trot.
Sangita Kumari and Salima Tete scored the opening two goals for the side in the third quarter while Deepika added one more goal to her tally in the final minute of the match.

India started the second half in a dominating fashion, registering a lot of circle penetrations which resulted in a goal when Sangita deflected a long cross into the top corner on the near side.
Then, captain Salima Tete doubles the team's lead with an easy tap-in on the near side after a low baseline pass from Preeti.
