India defeated four-time champions South Korea 2-1 in the final to be crowned the 2023 Women's Junior Hockey Asia Cup champions. This is the women in blue's first win in the continental event having finished runner-up once in the past.

India clear the first PC, but South Korea are handed a second. The Indian defenders are not happy with that decision and unsuccessfully argue with the umpire. The second chance too is fluffed by the Koreans.

Two PCs gone begging for South Korea, thanks to poor trapping skills on both occasions. They did manage to win a second chance after fluffing it on the first attempt, but the Indian defence came up trumps in the second try.

Yet another PC for South Korea and this time it is an easy block for Madhuri Kindo, who just raises her arms and deflects that aerial shot away without any trouble.

4' - GOAL LINE CLEARANCE, NEELAM!
That was fantastic from Neelam - a goal line clearance from the youngster. It was a PC for South Korea and the drag flick has beaten every Indian defender, including the goalkeeper. But Neelam stands tall for India to clear it away.
The ball penetrated in between goalie Madhuri Kindo's legs, which seemed to have reduced the power behind that shot. Neelam, though, was top notch with her duties.
