End of quarter three, the scoreline remains the same

With just 15 minutes left, Delhi, whilst starting the quarter strongly, faded away as the quarter progressed. 

A defeat here would in all likelihood mean curtains for Delhi's title aspirations. Can they turn it around? Or will Bengal hold on for its first win of the season?

After what was a frenzy start from Delhi with multiple attacks, the rush seems to have died down from Delhi and Bengal are seeing more of the ball and can circulate it.

With their back to the wall all along this quarter, Bengal had the chance to double their lead from a PC but they too are unable to make it count.

Delhi Pipers have let themselves down in PCs tonight, making a meal of several meaningful goalscoring opportunities in the form of PCs. 

Bengal are hanging on to their solitary goal advantage.

Delhi have started the third quarter in blistering pace, making multiple circle entries and are also pressing higher up the field. 

They have another PC now, can they make it count?

Delhi had three penalty corners on the trot but they failed to even threaten the goal in those three attempts. 

They have had more than six PCs but haven't scored from any, encapsulating their sloppiness in front of goal.

A fierce shot is deflected goalwards and Tigers' keeper Jennifer Rizzo makes a wonderful save, but there seems to be a foul and a PC has been awarded for Delhi. 

We're back for the second half

The third quarter is underway with the teams switching sides. 

Bengal holds a 1-0 lead and have looked good so far, but given the small margin of advantage, Delhi knows they're in this game.

In what has been a very entertaining match so far, Bengal head into the dugout the happier of the two sides, leading 1-0 thanks to Mullan's strike. 

Having relied on counter attacks as their main outlet of attacks, the Tigers maximized on one such attack, and have remained steadfast in defense despite the wave of attacks that came their way. 

Delhi will have to recalibrate their strategy if they are to breakdown this Bengal defense.
