Women's HIL Highlights: The Delhi SG Pipers registered their first win of the 2024-25 Women's Hockey India League, beating the Soorma Hockey Club 2-0 on Friday.
The young Indian forwards Sangita Kumari and Deepika scored the goals for the Pipers as they handed the table toppers their first loss of the season.

Savita Punia with a double save before the umpire hands Delhi SG Pipers a second penalty corner. Not the best of injections the second time around and though the Pipers get a decent drag flick, it is not enough to trouble the Soorma defence.

Salima Tete receives the Arjuna Award
The Soorma and India captain Salima Tete received the Arjuna Award earlier today from the President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Tete has just returned from Delhi and is hence missing in the Starting 11 tonight for Soorma.
