END OF THE FIRST QUARTER
The first passage of play draws to a close and it is India who have the lead. They started nervously handing Spain an early PC, but a solid save from Savita Punia meant that the home favourties are yet to open their account in the final.
Gurjit Kaur then put India in front with a beautiful drag flick by converting India's first and only Penalty Corner of the match so far.
