The Indian junior men's hockey team faced a spirited Japan in its second match of the 2024 Men's Junior Hockey Asia Cup, in Oman, on Thursday.

After a crushing 11-0 win over Thailand in the opening game yesterday, the Indian team come into this match with a lot of confidence.

Japan too, had beat Chinese Taipei 11-0 in its opening fixture.

With the scores tied at 1-1, India scored twice in Q3 to take the lead and from there, held on to post their second consecutive victory of the campaign.
