The Indian junior men's hockey team was up against Thailand in their opening fixture of the 2024 Men's Junior Asia Cup in Muscat, Oman on Wednesday.
Indian team entered the tournament as the two-time defending champion and similarly started their title defense, registering a massive win in the opening fixture.

Indian team started their title defense with a dominating 11-0 victory against Thailand in the opening fixture. Araijeet Singh Hundal, Sourabh Kushwaha, and Gurjot Singh scored a brace for the side.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Toppo, Arshdeep Singh, Dilraj Singh, Rohit, Sharda Nand Tiwari scored one goal each.
