India finishes an underwhelming world cup campaign after defeating Asian Champions Japan 3-1 in the classification match. Navneet Kaur scored twice and Deep Grace Ekka scored a penalty corner as India finish their WC campaign in 9th position.
India will move ahead and get ready for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

This was India's quarter as India was dominant and completely outclassed Japan. Deep Grace Ekka and Navneet scored for India as Deep slapped one home from a Penalty corner and Navneet scored her second.
