Haryana heads into halftime much the happier side with two goals to the good. 

Uttar Pradesh did have four PCs but couldn't convert any.

Rajinder Singh made a darting circle entry and unleashed a fierce strike but it was straight at keeper Prashanth Kumar Chauhan who parried it away. 

With that power, had he placed the shot just away from the keeper, there was very little the keeper could have done!
