Highlights as Rarh Bengal Tigers beat Delhi SG Pipers in the Hockey India League.

HIL Highlights: The Delhi SG Pipers ended their 2024-25 Hockey India campaign winless as they fell to a 1-2 loss against the Rarh Bengal Tigers at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Monday.
The Pipers scored first via Tomas Domene but their hopes of a first win in their last match were shattered as Rupinder Pal Singh and Sebastien Dockier scored within minutes of each other in the final quarter to take the Tigers to the top of the table.

A good quarter for the Delhi SG Pipers, but they don't really have anything to show for it in the scoreboard. The Rarh Bengal Tigers, meanwhile, haven't done too bad for themselves either but are slowly growing into it.

A good move from the right by the Pipers and they earn a PC, thanks to an error from Jasjit Singh. However, the drag flick is far from ideal. It soars above the post.

7' - SAVE, RENNIE!
The Rarh Bengal Tigers with an attacking move from the right now and Benjamin Rennie does well to come down from his post to cut the angle on the man in front of the goal and deflect the ball away. Good save!

4' - Pipers looking to press forward
A nice turnover for the Delhi SG Pipers and Domene goes on a run right down the centre. He manages to put the ball to Dilraj on the left after a deflection off the defender.
Dilraj comes in from the baseline and manages to pull the ball back in, but there's no one there to receive for the Pipers. That was a good move.

1' - Jugraj with a good deflection
A good steal at the top of the circle from Tomas Domene and he penetrates. However, Jugraj Singh deflects away his cross to the front of the goal with ease.

The Pipers are playing their last match of the season and even an outright win cannot really take them out of the last spot in the points table. They are the only team with no outright win this season. Pride is what they play for tonight.
