HIL: Tamil Nadu Dragons beat Delhi SG Pipers – Highlights

HIL Highlights: The Tamil Nadu Dragons registered a 3-2 win over the Delhi SG Pipers in their 2024-25 Hockey India League clash at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Monday.
Jip Janssen, Nathan Ephraums, and Blake Govers scored for the Dragons, while Tomas Domene's brace for the Pipers went in vain.

That's a second goal inside a minute and the Tamil Nadu Dragons are on cloud nine.
A free hit just outside the 23-yard line and Mohammed Raheel drives it in straight in front of the goal. Karthi Selvam with the deflection, but is is blocked.
However, Blake Govers is in a perfect position to pounce on the rebound. GOALLL!
The Pipers are unhappy and argue with the umpire for something. The umpire, however, is convinced it is a goal. No review taken.

The Tamil Nadu Dragons have taken the lead. That was sensational from Nathan Ephraums.
A drive from Amit Rohidas into the circle from outside the 23-yard line, and Ephramus just back flicks it into the goal. He wasn't even facing the goal was Ephramus. DRAGONS LEAD!

Tomas Domene once again with some good work inside the circle and he earns yet another penalty corner for the Pipers.
However, David Harte does well to stop Gareth Furlong's drag flick.
That piece of action also brings an end to the first quarter!

6' - DRAGONS SCOREEE!
A counter attack from the Tamil Nadu Dragons and the Delhi SG Pipers clear it the first time. However, the Dragons still have the ball and they penetrate. Ludwig Moritz earns a penalty corner in the right.
The PC routine is flawless. Moritz with a good injection before Jip Janssen's drag flick beats Rennie Benjamin to draw the Dragons level.
That goal also makes Janssen the highest scorer of the 2024-25 HIL!
