HIL Highlights: The Harmanpreet Singh-led Soorma Hockey Club emerged victorious with a bonus point against the Tamil Nadu Dragons in the 2024 Hockey India League match on Sunday at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela.
After a goalless three quarters, the Dragons broke the deadlock with Nathan Ephramus finding the net via a penalty corner. Gujrant Singh followed the suit as the Soormas equalised within minutes.
As the match head into shoot-out goalkeeper Vincent Vanasch stood tall for the Soormas with two saves.

The Tamil Nadu Dragons have come close to the circle a couple of times, but the Soorma Hockey Club defence has held up well, as expected. Other than that just a lot of mid-field play, with neither teams willing to go on all-out attack.
