END OF FIRST QUARTER

A last ditch effort from Team Gonasika in the dying moments of the first quarter and Dominic Dixon denies them with his skills in front of the goal. 

Gonasika called the shots for most of the first 15 minutes but a major lapse in concentration saw the Hyderabad Toofans equalise after SV Sunil had put the former in front as early as the second minute.

14' - SAVE, PAYNE!

The Hyderabad Toofans have suddenly grown in confidence and come charging in from the right flank. A brilliant shot from there with the reverse stick and Oliver Payne does well to keep it out of the net.

12' - TOOFANS EQUALISE!

A major defensive lapse at the top of the circle from Team Gonasika and they pay the price. That was a long pass and the defender failed to collect it. The ball passes into the circle, where Rajinder Singh and Daniel Timothy combine to set the ball in.

That was not the best of the goals, but the Toofans will take it. The team from Hyderabad has equalised against the run of play.

10' - Brilliant high press from Gonasika

Team Gonasika are in no mood to fall back. They have been pressing high for almost the entire ten minutes of play so far and have barely let the Toofans have any control over the ball.

6' - Good stuff from Peillat

Jack Waller with a run down the centre and tries to find Mandeep Singh at the top of the circle. But Singh is already surrounded and Gonzalo Peillat steals it away to avert any danger for the Hyderabad Toofans.

4' - Good defence from Toofans

A good interception from Sumit inside the circle as Hyderabad Toofans clear the danger. It is Nilam Sanjeep Xess with a run on the left flank, but the Toofans manage to get him off balance.

Xess still manages to give the ball to Jack Waller who plays a 1-2 with Tim Morton before passing the ball in, which is intercepted by Sumit.

2' - Gonasika SCOREEEE!

Team Gonasika charge in almost immediately and they have earned the reward as well. A brilliant pass from Mandeep Singh from the right flank and the Hyderabad Toofans defence is completely opened up.

The ball finds SV Sunil, who has a near empty goal to tap it in. The two Indian veterans have combined to help Gonasika to an early lead.
