HIL Highlights: Team Gonasika registered their first win of the Hockey India League as they took down Hyderabad Toofans 3-1 at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Staurday.
SV Sunil, Victor Charlet, and Nilam Sanjeep Xess all found the net for Gonasika, while Timothy Daniel scored the only goal of the match for Toofans.

Once again a brilliant circle penetration from Hyderabad Toofans but Victor Charlet's comes in with a deflection to avert the danger for Team Gonasika.

END OF THIRD QUARTER!
The Hyderabad Toofans once again with a good move, this time building from the back. Sumit from the left flank with a good pass in the circle, but Rajinder Singh's deflection takes a deflection off a Gonasika defender and goes out.
That piece of action also brings curtains down on the third quarter. Gonasika dominated for most parts but the Toofans have grown back in confidence.

A good counter attack created via an aerial ball from Hyderabad Toofans and the Gonasika defence is caught napping. Timothy Daniel does well to get the ball in control, but his shot is just wide of the post.

Team Gonasika with yet another good circle penetration and the Hyderabad Toofans require Amandeep Lakra to step in with an interception to avert the danger.
Gonasika are calling the shot currently, dominating the play right from the mid-field.

Victor Charlet's first drag flick is blocked by the first rusher. So is the second.
They go to Araijeet Singh Hundal for the third penalty corner, but even his drag flick hits the first rusher. Gonasika are handed a fourth PC in a row.
Charlet does not miss this time and slots the ball in with his drag flick. TEAM GONASIKA LEADDD!
The Hyderabad Toofans defence seem to have been taken by surprise with Gonasika throwing Hundal in the mix and then going back to Charlet.
