FIH Women's World Cup Qualifiers Final Highlights: Having already secured their spots in the 2026 FIH Women's World Cup, India and England will faced-off for the bragging rights in the 2026 FIH Women's World Cup Qualifiers Final in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The hosts ended up on the wrong side of the result, falling to a 0-2 loss.
Salima Tete and co wanted to play attacking hockey and they did exactly that posing constant questions to the English defence. But they just couldn't break through โ its an area that Sjored Marijne will have to get some improvements in over the next few months.
Elizabeth Neal and Grace Balsdon scored for England as they took the gold medal.

Scotland book the FIH Women's World Cup spot
Scotland have just beaten Italy 1-0 in the third-place play-off. The win helps them qualify for the 2026 FIH Women's World Cup.
Meanwhile, its heartbreak for Italy. They miss out on the highest ranked fourth place spot as well with Japan, who finished fourth in the other qualifiers, placed higher than them in world rankings.

Hello and warm welcome to The Bridge's LIVE coverage of the 2026 FIH Women's World Cup Qualifiers Final between India and England.
Though the World Cup spot is already in the bag, Sjoerd Marijne and his wards have their biggest challenge yet tonight.
India have looked comfortable through out the tournament, but they were always expected to against the likes of Uruguay, Wales, Italy, and Scotland โ all of them much lower ranked than them.
England, on the other hand, are a much more well-oiled unit and provide the capabilities to make life difficult even for the elite teams.
It won't be easy but with a strong home support, India would hope to end the tournament on a high.
