Indian women's hockey team took on Germany in their penultimate match of the FIH Pro League season 2023-24 to continue their London Leg on Saturday.
Indian women's team going through a tough transition phase, haven't won a single match in their last six pro league matches and were siting on the eighth position with just 8 points out of 14 matches.

End of first half: India women 2-1 Germany
Indian women's team continues their play int he start of the second quarter but Germany then started playing a possession play and India went to the back foot helping Germany win a penalty corner.
Huse Viktoria converted the Penalty corner with a down the line powerful drag flick as Indian defense looked clueless about the shot.
Do tune in for a close second half as Germany will try to find the equalizer which will create opening for India on counter.

End of first quarter: India women 2-0 Germany
A very much end to end play in the first quarter with Indian team getting few great openings in the Germany's penalty circle and eventually converted a goal after a speedy run from right flank and Sunelita converts.
In the final minute of the quarter, India doubled their lead after an excellent run from Vandana from the center to assist Deepika for the goal.
