End of the first half and Uruguay have their noses in front with the Indians looking shaky. Can the South Americans cause an upset?

Uruguay have taken the lead with just 20 seconds to half time. Their skipper Viana has found the net after a bad challenge from the Indians.

Some stubborn defending there from Uruguay, but the Indians finally break through. Unsure who got the final touch there, but Ajmina was among the thick of things once again as India equalise.

6' - Uruguay take the lead!

The Uruguayan striker is one on one with Rajani and she beats the Indian goalie with ease. Just dribbles past her and takes the lead.

Uruguay come close to the goalpost again, but the Indian goalkeeper and captain Rajani is up to the task. Kicks the ball away for the first time, before blocking the rebound. Good goalkeeping.
