Three-time champions and title favourites India were held to a 1-1 draw by Japan in their second match of the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Japan's Ken Nagayoshi scored the opening goal in the second quarter before Harmanpreet levelled the scores in the third quarter.
India slips to second place at the point table while Malaysia stays at top.
