Defending champions India began their Asian Champions Trophy title defence with a clinical 3-0 win over hosts China at the Moqi Training Base in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia in China on Sunday.
India will take on Japan on Monday in their next game.

The Indian men's national hockey team will return to action at the Asian Champions Trophy for the first time since last month's medal-winning run at the Paris Olympics. The 18-member squad will be heading to the tournament as the defending champions, aiming to defend their title won last year in Chennai.
