Manu Bhaker has undoubtedly emerged as one of the brightest shooting prospect for India in recent times. The 18 year old pistol shooter rose to fame during the 2018 ISSF Junior Shooting World Cup and has since gone on the achieve some unimaginable things at a very young age.
Manu had even qualified for the 10m air pistol event in upcoming Tokyo Olympics back in May 2019 and is one of India's best bet in shooting during the quadrennial event.
Well that's all about the youngster's sporting achievements. But is she trying to crack one of the most difficult examinations in the country – Union Public Service Commission or the UPSC?
The answer to this question seems affirmative.
On Sunday morning, Manu was seen replying to a tweet of the 2013 batch IPS AkashTomar asking aspiring UPSC students to share their email id if they wish to have a glimpse at his notes.
"If anyone needs my 2012 UPSC notes (in typed form) in order to get an idea about how notes should be made during preparation for civil devices, please reply to this post with your email ID. I'll mail you my notes. #IAS #IPS #UPSCaspirants #upscexam #civilserviceaspirant #UPSC," Tomar had tweeted.
Manu replied to the tweet and said that cracking UPSC is definitely in her mind.
"Surely, these notes are going to help me. After big games, UPSC is in my thoughts. [email protected]," replied the shooter to the tweet.
With Manu's tweet pretty much indicating that she would love to pursue civil service in near future, The Bridge team wishes her luck.
