Freekick almost resulted in a counter attack goal for Uzbekistan!

Devi's freekick was cleared and that initiated a counter attack for the women in blue but poor passing and lack of composure caused the attack to fizzle out.

The #9 from India had the ball and time to release a shot from the edge of the box but could not pack any power or placement into it. It was straight at the keeper who caught it with ease.

India make inroads!

Now it is the Indian team who storm into the Uzbek penalty box and whip crosses in but so far it has been dealt with relative ease by the home side.

The Uzbeks put the ball in the box but it ricocheted and fell kindly to Maftuna who's edge of the box shot was narrowly wide!
