SAFF U19 C'ship Final: India beat Bangladesh on penalties – Highlights
Highlights from the 2025 SAFF Men's U19 Championship final between India and Bangladesh.

SAFF U19 Final Highlights: India were crowned the 2025 SAFF Men's U19 Championships with a 4-3 win on penalties against Bangladesh in the final at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday.
It marked a record extending tenth age group SAFF title for the Blue Colts, whereas it was the fourth such title for coach Bibano Fernandes.
India have Shami Singamayum to thank, who scored their only goal in the match and then also scored the winning penalty. On contrary, the Bangladesh skipper Faysal made the biggest mistake of the night, for the visitors which eventually put them under pressure in the shoot-out.

HALF TIME!
There goes the whistle and that's the end of an intense first half. India scored as early as the second minute and that's the only time the goal post has been breached tonight at the Golden Jubilee Stadium.
India dominated the proceedings for the first 30 minutes, creating multiple chances. But they couldn't double their lead. Bangladesh seem to have grown into the match and were the better side in the final 15 minutes.
The visitors, however, are yet to score. They had their only attempt disallowed as well.
It is not going to be easy for both sides when we return after this short break.

Another corner for Bangladesh and it is absolute chaos in front of the goal. But India have somehow managed to clear it away. That's another lucky escape for the Blue colts.

42' - Bangladesh hit the cross bar
A corner for Bangladesh and it is delivered well. The header, however, hits the top right of the goal post. Bangladesh do pounce on the rebound and slot it past the Indian goalkeeper.
But, it doesn't count. Unfortunately for them, the referee had already blown a whistle for a foul. Bangladesh aren't happy.
Lucky, lucky escape for India.

37' - A sedate ten minutes
A rather sedate ten minutes or so. Both teams eager to press forward but as soon as they do, they end up conceding the possession. India look a more complete outfit though.

26' - Heated exchange between Rohen and Saini Das
Some heated exchanges between India's Rohen Singh and Saini Das on the wings. The referee has to intervene to cool things down.
Not exactly sure what went down there but, Singh seemed extremely unhappy. Remember, it was Saini, who had tackled Singh just few minutes back.

20' - India continue to call the shots
An excellent aerial ball from left to the right from Omang Dodum. Rohen Singh receives it with a beautiful first touch just on the top of the box and is rushing forward.
Singh, however, is shoved slightly from behind by a Bangladesh defender and he is down on the field. Some medical attention for him.
