India's newly appointed head coach Manolo Marquez announced a 26-member probable squad for the upcoming preparatory camp ahead of the three-nation Intercontinental Cup.
The tournament, featuring Syria (ranked 93rd), Mauritius (ranked 179th), and India (ranked 124th), is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad during the FIFA window from September 3 to 9, 2024.
The camp will commence in Hyderabad on August 31, marking the beginning of Marquez's tenure as India’s head coach.
Expressing his excitement about the first preparatory camp, Marquez said, "We are very excited about our first preparatory camp, and I know the players feel the same. The rankings are not what matters; our focus is on unity and working together to find the best group of players. It's a great honour to wear the national jersey, and we must show our commitment to all our fans.”
