Kerala Blasters FC on Monday announced that Head Coach Mikael Stahre, along with Assistant Coaches Björn Wesström and Frederico Pereira Morais, have left their respective roles with immediate effect.

Stahre took charge following the departure of long-time head coach Ivan Vukomanović but struggled to find consistent results.

Under his leadership, the team managed only three wins and two draws from 12 matches, suffering seven defeats, including back-to-back losses.

Notably, the Blasters faced disappointing results even at their home ground, including a 2-1 defeat to Mohun Bagan in their most recent match.

The new head coach will be announced in due course according to the communication from the club.

Till the new appointment is confirmed, KBFC’s Reserve Team Head Coach and Head of Youth Development, Tomasz Tchórz and assistant coach, TG Purushothaman will take over the responsibility of managing the First Team.
